We designed a powerful 3D animation for CFO 2024, a flagship event by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). The core idea behind the animation was to visually represent four key themes: Growth, Illuminate, Innovate and Integrate.
To bring this vision to life, we created a symbolic 3D paper plane that flies over a constantly evolving world. As the plane reaches its peak altitude, a beam of light illuminates the scene and the paper plane digitally transforms, symbolizing innovation and integration. In the background, dynamic numeric graphs and bars rise steadily, representing measurable growth.
Central Idea of the Animation:
People are like ordinary paper planes flying in different directions with unique ambitions. But when they choose the path to become a CFO through ICAP, they don’t just master numbers they become digitally sound, strategically integrated, and truly future-ready.
Challenges
The animation was executed in three structured phases:
- Brainstorming – Conceptualizing the visual metaphor of the paper plane’s journey and transformation.
- Storyboarding – Mapping out each scene, transition, and symbolic element to ensure the narrative flowed seamlessly.
- Production – The most demanding phase, which involved:
- Using Blender 3D Software for paper plane modeling, texturing, and animation
- Designing the evolving world and background elements in 3D
- Integrating numeric graphs, lighting effects, and the transformation sequence
- Final compositing and video production using Adobe Premiere Pro, synchronizing visuals with music and timing
The result was a seamless, cinematic animation that captured the essence of CFO 2024 and resonated deeply with its audience of financial leaders.
